Meet The Worlds Most Elusive Breeds
[Luvas Mobilus]
A highly sociable breed, the Client-Facing Professional has seemingly limitless empathy for the business needs of its clients. This welleducated breed encompasses a wide variety of subspecies, including accountants, lawyers and management consultants.

Tending to work in larger colonies, their lower purchasing power within their business is out-weighed by their natural ability to persuade a client to invest in a project. Hungry to learn, most Client-Facing Professionals come equipped with an MBA and aspirations to live the high life. |

Natural habitat
Those perched higher
up the business
ladder start their day
with a proper breakfast
at a private club,
whilst the majority will
fly straight to work,
opting for a light
breakfast. Plagued by
incessant chirps from their mobiles, they
fly in and out of meetings all day long,
landing only briefly to court one of their
many clients.
City lovers, over a quarter of them live close
enough to walk to work. Trying to escape the
stresses that business courtship can bring,
they collectively roost in local drinking holes
after work to reflect on the day's triumphs
and disasters.
Feed
Having to stay abreast of news that affects their company and their
clients means this breed is continuously searching for the hottest
information. Choosing to feed predominantly from FT.com allows these
information aficionados to get all the news they want, when they want.
Although they use online
sources to feed during the week,
this breed likes to feast on the
FT newspaper on a Monday
morning and has a specific
taste for Companies & Markets,
as well as special reports such
as Innovative Lawyers. Not
particularly loyal to their
company, they also feed on FT
Executive Appointments to try
and move up the pecking order.

| Migration | |

To make sure they can court as many clients as possible, the Client- Facing Professional will migrate up to eight times internationally and at least four times domestically every year. While away from their nesting ground they will also visit conferences about finance, energy and telecommunications to improve their business intellect. When they are finally released from the squawking cries of their clients, they reward themselves with four foreign and three domestic holidays every year. |

Knowing that first impressions mean everything in their business, this breed always has a flawless plumage. With aspirations to surround themselves with Bentleys, they currently buy Audis. Smart, striking and sophisticated, they've evolved to do business without wearing a tie, which in some people's opinion makes them more approachable than other breeds. With constant email and text alerts from their mobiles, spotters will usually hear this breed before they actually see it. Studies have been done to see if they can live without their mobile. The results don't look promising. |
